Theme Solar System 4 Weeks 9 Subjects

This month’s theme the Solar System covers several major areas in the solar system from introducing the solar system to kids, the planets, the international space station, celestial objects, dwarf planets, and asteroids, comets, and meteoroids.  This theme encourages students to research the topic further.  It is for them to experience the solar system in the four major subjects. To understand how we can view the solar system from many different aspects.  The students will experience focus skills such as previewing text, asking questions, sequencing, comparing and contrasting, cause/effect, fact/ opinion and main idea, details, and conclusions.  This theme encourages the child to take ownership of his/her learning so they are more motivated to learn what interests them.   All are laid out in easy-to-use language and instruction.
